Chocolate Chip-Overloaded Cookie, Oh How Tempting…!

Yesterday seemed like another relaxing day and baking was all I could think about. But what to bake, every baker’s dilemma.. haaayyy… So I only got to pack a few essential ingredients and tada! The simplest of all simple bakings.. COOKIES!!

Workplace — Just a simple kitchen center stainless table top and a heavy-weight oven ;)

Nope, no Kitchen Aid here.. Too heavy to bring! This is where the mini mixer comes in handy.

I doubled the vanilla extract recipe and got the whole kitchen smelling like vanilla… I ❤ it!!

Plus this view from the kitchen window kinda makes it more perfect…

Isn’t it just dreamy when the cookies are being baked inside the very hot oven and you could just smell it even before its done. Then after baking, you can still smell the cookie dough lingering on your shirt and hair. Oh, how wonderful.

And yet 3 dozens were not enough for the weekend! Should’ve made more, but I thought.. What a way to start off the new year, eat a lot of cookies and get fat right at the beginning? No way! Hahaha! Only eat in moderation! :D

I make Bear Cookies fit in a cute tiny box! — Yet another holiday-related post~

Yet another Holiday-related post! ;P I bought these boxes last month and I never thought they match for this holiday season! Yey! I just love shopping for baking equipments and adding more stuff to my baking corner. Literally, there is a corner in this house for me to stack up on my piles and piles of pans, cookie cutters, mixers, ingredients, packaging and so much more!

Who likes cinnamon? ME! *raises hand*

Who likes chewy cookies? ME! *raises hand*

Who likes cute cut outs on cookies? ME! *raises hand* (I have 100+ cookie cutter shapes!)

Little Cinnamon Bears shall go inside the box now… 

I just find them so cute and so tiny, perfect for gifts or give aways which I made a lot of this past week! :)

And today was just a day like any other… + cookies!

Yes, it’s true. the holiday season is the busiest part of the year, in the kitchen of course! bake for this, bake for that… A very demanding season, but it’s fun because I get to bake a lot! Not for my own consumption, silly.. for the people giving it as presents to their love ones, for the contest winners, for table display, for parties/gatherings, etc… 

I also had fun with the cookie cutters I just bought! My favorite is the dinosaur! 

I got hooked and made christmas-inspired decorative cookies such as the gingerbread man (big & small), snowman, christmas tree and stars… just to name a few.

And what is baking cookies without baking chocolate chips!? But this time, I mixed in the choco-swirly chips instead of the regular chips to add a little more twist! Get it?! ;D

Another batch was everyone’s favorite; Oreo! cookies :) Baking is all I do on my spare time. It occupies me and it’s very productive! On other days, I’m just stuck on one specific website that starts with a number and it’s full of gags..you know what I mean xD

It’s not only the kitchen that smelled good, the whole house smelled of bakery and it was dreamy. Just imagine how Hansel & Gretel felt like when they went into the pastry house, it was kinda like that.

Everyone loved it! Who can say no to cookies?! They’re like the ultimate finger food during snack time or just something to munch on when bored. I’d like to make my own cookies from now on, instead of buying overly manufactured pre-packed cookies in which tasted like chemicals these days. just my thought… :)
